"Popsical" is a feel-good pop show, playing new hits and featuring music news, but specialises in playing forgotten pop gems, like a weekly selection of Number Twos and, focusses on the people behind the music, displayed in the show´s features like "Producer of the Week."
The show´s creator and presenter, Tim Eggington, started in radio in 2001, co-presenting up to 3 shows a week at his local hospital in Burton-on-Trent. In 2007, he spent a year on Xpression FM in Exeter, presenting a Sunday morning and Tuesday afternoon mainstream show before joining Tequila Radio in October 2008, where "Popsical" was born. In May 2009, Tim won 2 awards at the first Tequila Awards ceremony, for Best Evening Presenter and 3rd Best Show Overall...not bad when you think Tequila is a station which tends to lean on the side of the less mainstream markets!

Tim took his "Popsical" formula to GTFM in January 2010, as the meat in the Saturday night sandwich of party programming for the station. He is also scheduled to air "Popsical" on Bro Radio from the Spring of 2010...
